Welcome!

HTB Flag Football Sports League is a South Shore Nassau County League.  We are in our 20th year serving the communities of Merrick, Bellmore, Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa, Levittown, etc.  Our games are played on Saturday's in the Wantagh area.  Our teams are made up of Boys & Girls from grades Pre-K thru 12. 

HTB is happy to announce that in our Spring 2021 Season we received our 1st ever all girls team enrolled by Head Coach Mike Betz of Seaford NY. Since then the number of girls in HTB has increased significantly.  Due to the numerous girls now enrolled in the league.  We are proud to reveal our new 2022 HTB&G Logo.

We instill good sportsmanship, team spirit & lasting friendships.

Does your child like to play football but doesn't like the contact of tackle league?  This is the new alternative, a fun filled league designed for everyone to play.  No one needs to worry, there is no blocking, no fumbles, no kickoffs & no punting!  Experienced or not, everyone can learn to play in a short time.

Many tackle players and teams, use our Spring season, to practice, and improve their skills, younger players can learn the game without the worry of injury.

IT'S FOR EVERYONE

Flag football is special compared to other sports; it’s inclusive for kids of all abilities.  Your children do not have to be football players to play flag football.  They can be soccer players, baseball players, or hockey players.  If they have one skill useful for flag football, such as speed, hand-eye coordination, or even qualities like hardworking and determined, they can learn to play flag football.  

Flag football is beneficial to children who don’t even necessarily want to play football in the future, but just want to explore new options, get exercise, and meet new friends. So get your child signed up for flag football today! The deadline for HTB&G Flag Football 2024 Fall Registration is August 31, 2024, so don’t wait!

HTB&G ONLINE LATE REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN

Late registrations are now open until September 15, 2024. 

HTB&G has been working on filing teams. At this time we have a limited amount of spots that we are working on trying to fill.  Please see below for a list of divisions with the number of opens left per division.  At this time we can not honor any coach, friend or team request.  Your child will be placed on a team with an opening.

Please note once a child is registered there are not refunds or league credits.

Please note HTB&G league officials use the app to communicate all league news regarding the child's assigned team, roster, and the weekly game schedule on the app.

2024 Fall Season Tentative Schedule

Saturday Mornings/Afternoons (8am - 5pm) with one Sunday

• Saturday September 21, 28, October 5, 19, 26 with one Sunday, September 29, 2024.
• Tentative Playoff/Championship Week: Playoff/Championship the Week of Saturday November 2 through Sunday November 10th, 2024. (Weather Permitting)

ALL RAINOUTS WILL BE MADE UP ON SUNDAYS & IF NEED BE, ON A WEEKNIGHT. PENDING WEATHER.

ANY POSTPONEMENTS DUE TO PARK EVENTS MAY GET A THREE HOUR DELY OR WILL HAVE TO BE MADE UP ON SUNDAYS. 

Playoff Schedule subject to change with number of teams that register.  We will have the dates and times of the playoffs by the preseason coaches meeting.

K DIVISION: PRE-K & KINDERGARTEN 
A1 DIVISION: 1st GRADE 

A2 DIVISION: 2nd GRADE 
B3 DIVISION: 3rd Grade

B4 DIVISION: 4th GRADE

C5 DIVISION: 5th GRADE

C6 DIVISION: 6th GRADE 

D DIVISION: 7th & 8th GRADE Co-Mingled

Junior DIVISION: 9th & 10th GRADE Co-Mingled
Senior DIVISION: 11th & 12th GRADE Co-Mingled

All Co-Mingled teams will have to play in the higher division.
